Summary

A retro split-flap display in the style of vintage train-station and airport departure boards. The Tidbyt's tiles scramble through random characters and settle on the target message, one tile at a time in a row-major ripple — the classic Solari aesthetic in miniature.

• Custom message (typed or dictated from the phone) or one of 20 curated presets
• 4 color themes: amber (classic), white (station), green (departures), red (alert)
• 3 animation speeds, 3 alignments
• 10x3 grid of 6x10 monospaced tiles, word-wrapped and centered
• Output WebP ~2-3 KB across all speed settings

Test plan

• pixlet check apps/flipboard passes
• pixlet community validate-manifest / validate-icons / load-app all clean
• pixlet format / pixlet lint clean
• Rendered and pushed to a real Tidbyt — animation reads correctly at 64x32
