Disclaimer:

Read fab terms-of-service

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable terms and conditions. Additionally, any assets downloaded from Fab must be used in accordance with the specified terms and conditions.

Requirements:

How to install:

  • Download the zip file from releases
  • Install the downloaded zip file in blender preferences. (First time It may take few minutes to enable)
Leave blender executable and asset folder path as is unless needed.

How to use:

  • Open side panel 'N' in 3d viewport.
  • Select Quixel in side panel.
  • Search for assets and wait while it loads.
  • Adjust import settings and press import.
  • If add to assets option is selected:
Open an asset browser and switch to Quixel Assets library. You will find all the assets there.

How it works:

It works by scraping data from fab quixel listings. The data is then displayed in blender.
Import method fetches download link for fbx format and saves it in assets folder.
Adding to asset library also works similarly with creating a new blend file for each asset.
All data is saved in folder selected in preferences.
