DCARK for old CFW users

Prerequisites

• PSP has to be running CFW, and not in a Bricked state already.
• Memory Stick in working order. i.e. Does not have formatting issues or errors when loading things.
• All buttons functionality work. i.e. No buttons are stuck on, or do not work ( more so LT for the don't work one )
• Download the latest release here
• Save it somewhere safe.

Excuse me wat?

• Used for people that are on old CFW ( THIS WILL ONLY STILL WORK ON CFW NOT OFW )

• Examples:

  • Have 3.03 OE, 3.40 OE, or hell any CFW? Want to do like 5 steps? Nah me neither. Use this to do it in 3 steps.

Where the fun begins

• Install DCARK on your already CFW'd PSP.
• Install ARK cIPL Installer from with the PSP folder in the zip you downloaded in Prerequisites
  • Side note: If the model says some negative number DO NOT PROCEED! Let me know and I will fix it, however I did testing on lower firmwares with all my PSP's with no issues.
• Once your PSP restarts it will be "bricked". Trying to use 6.61 IPL on another FW will never boot. Don't fret! Move to the next section to continue.

The end of the journey

• Power off your PSP fully. To verify this, just take the battery out then put it back in.
• Hold LT ( Left Trigger )
• Power on still holding LT. Wait for DCARK to load and then release LT.
• Install 6.61 ARK-4
• Enjoy the freedom. ;-)
