Can the Community on the Discourse site request that the Developers consider offering the Community a status update on
- UbuntuMATE Development Team discussions,
- current coding, process, or resource challenges on per item basis,
- decisions regarding itemized UbuntuMATE Project priorities, and
- any information available regarding possible efforts undertaken by the Team to identify and acquire a possible non-Canonical Corporate benefactor and advocate

Going on a limb with this point, are there any other Communities for Distros which are "akin" to UbuntuMATE, with the MATE Desktop being central, which could be approached to expand the reach for Development resources by considering Team and Project mergers? I realize that is easier said than done, but it it hasn't been considered, or those others approached, who knows what might come of it.
