Implement Traffic analysis for bus routes

It would be amazing if we could show how bad traffic was on the bus route, based on TomTom or Google traffic data.

TomTom has all kinds of traffic data. Not sure how easily it can be fetched, how easy it is to fetch historic data (would we need to store it?), can we fetch between two stop addresses or is just general area traffic enough?
