Description
I just installed today I put for other keys at the bottom an Alibaba key for deepseek. Then connected it to the coding. The problem is with claud code interface. I was able to use another Pi Coding Agent didn't work either
I can get the chat to work fine but as soon as we try the coding agent, it gets a network error.
Issue:
coding_agent consistently fails with API Error: Unable to connect to API (ENOTFOUND) even for offline tasks.
Fresh installs (docker system prune + pull) don’t resolve it.
Chat interface works (same deepseek-through-alibaba key), but agent tools don’t.
Debugging Done:
Verified backend key/endpoint works in chat.
Tested offline commands (e.g., echo "test") — still fails.
Reinstalled from scratch (deleted all containers/images/caches).
Request:
Investigate why coding_agent forces API calls even for offline tasks.
Provide updated image/config to disable API dependency.
