Become a sponsor to Willem Leuverink
Hey there! I'm Willem π
Freelance full-stack developer crafting digital experiences from the Netherlands π³π±
I like figuring out how things work and turning what I learn into tools other people can pick up and use. There's a particular joy in shipping a tool and hearing someone say "oh nice, I needed this." That's mostly why I do it.
Why Sponsor?
Real talk: building and maintaining these tools takes time, and there are some costs along the way (like that yearly β¬100 Apple Developer fee). Your support helps me keep these projects alive and kicking while I explore new ideas.
If you find my work useful, consider becoming a sponsor. Every bit helps! π
My work
Right now, I'm working on:
- DevKeepr: DevKeepr knows your projects, their stacks, and their scripts. Everything comes together in one place and works on your behalf, cleaning up idle projects, monitoring CI & deployments, and keeping your local projects secure from CVEs.
- PHPacker: Package any PHP script or PHAR into a standalone, cross-platform executable.
And a handful of packages:
- NativePHP for Desktop: Core contributor - Recently leading the v2 rewrite of the Desktop package. I work on new features and fixes whenever I have the time, which admittedly is not as much as i'd like these days.
- Asset Injector: Lets Laravel package authors inject CSS & JS into global HTML responses.
- Property Groups: Simplifies Livewire property management, validation, and manipulation by organizing related properties into named groups.
- Blade Hints: Marks usages of various Blade directives on your page, so you can easily spot missing authorization/auth/env checks.
- Magic TODOs: Magically turn HTML comments into interactive hints in your Laravel Blade frontend.
Past work:
- ClickUp Time Tracker: A tool for tracking time on ClickUp tasks in a way that's actually usable. (Archived, but it still has an active userbase and is maintained in third-party forks.)
- Bundle: A fresh take on getting page-specific JavaScript modules into your Laravel apps, without the build-step maze.
- Phost: Email debugging doesn't have to be painful. I built this to actually enjoy testing emails.
- Relay: A native menu-bar app to keep tabs on GitHub workflow runs (because who enjoys context-switching just to check a build status?).
And a host of other packages and experiments. Join me in the lab to see what I've got cooking π¨π»βπ³
