Thank you for contributing to ShakaPerf. To keep the project legally clean and to allow ShakaCode LLC to license ShakaPerf under its current and future terms, we ask every contributor to agree to the following before a contribution can be merged.
By submitting a contribution (a "Contribution") to this project, you agree:

Grant of rights. You grant ShakaCode LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, sublicense, and relicense your Contribution, including the right to distribute it under the current ShakaPerf License and under any other license ShakaCode LLC may adopt for the project, including commercial licenses.

Original work. You represent that each Contribution is your original creation, or that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not knowingly infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

AI-assisted contributions. If any part of your Contribution was generated or assisted by an AI tool, you remain fully responsible for it. You represent that you have reviewed the Contribution and that, to the best of your knowledge, it does not reproduce material from any source in a way that would infringe a third party's rights.

No obligation. You understand that ShakaCode LLC is under no obligation to use or include your Contribution.

You have the authority to enter into this agreement. If you are contributing on behalf of an employer or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.
