I recently looked into using Ogres (among many other VTTs) for a (slightly unusual) adventure that I am planning to run. Unfortunately, it did not turn out to suit my use case. I ultimately decided to build my own VTT for this project, but I thought that you might in any case find it useful to read about what aspects of Ogres’ design / implementation prevented me from being able to make use of it.
P.S. Despite the slightly harsh language in my blog post, I do think Ogres has a good deal of potential; I certainly agree with much of the design philosophy that you express on the app’s home page. I wish you luck with the project, regardless of whether I end up using it!
