Output icons show wrong chosen device

Describe your issue

Menu icons are not updating after connecting notebook to external monitor (via Thunderbolt hub). See screenshot, current active output device is MateView, but it displays as MacBook Pro, which is not true.

Steps to reproduce

1. Take a Macbook Pro M1 with closed lid.
2. Connect it to Huawei MateView via external Thunderbolt hub.

I workaround it by manually setting priority device in the app's settings. Somehow when the app running MateView not always chosen automatically as when without the app. I don't think this is something that needs to be addressed and fixed. Because with the selected priority device it now seems to work reliably.
