Some information about ChromeOS related to Better xCloud

Better xCloud website doesn't mention ChromeOS anywhere, so there's some info that I found:

• Chrome web browser on ChromeOS supports extensions and pointerlock API
• Opera browser for Chromebook (from Google Play store) DOESN'T support extensions. I didn't find anything about pointerlock API, but some people said that Opera browser for Chromebook is based on Android version.
• support for extensions in Microsoft Edge is unknown. [Here](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2390715/how-do-i-download-edge-to-my-chromebook-(that-has) someone said that it DOESN'T support browser extensions, beacuse it's based on Android version, but Microsoft Edge Android now supports extensions, do we only have outdated info.
• You can run Better xCloud Android app od your Chromebook supports Android apps
• You can run any Linux browser that supports extensions (including Opera which doesn't support extensions in ChromeOS version) and it will support extensions. Your Chromebook needs to support Linux apps.
  So best client can be:
• either Chrome browser or Android app
• Chrome browser

I'm running "Better xCloud" on an Acer Chromebox. I've installed it on the pre-installed Chrome browser via Tampermonkey. And it works without any issues just like on a real desktop PC.

For installing Android apps on Chrome OS that are not available in the PlayStore (=sideloading), you have to enable the device's developer mode first. Which will trigger a factory reset and wipe out all user data. So if someone wants to try out the Android app on a Chrome OS device, this would be something to keep in mind. But I doubt it would work better with the app than with the system's Chrome web browser.

On Chrome OS I would say "Yes". As the whole OS is built around Chrome. So I don't think it makes much sense to install an additional browser. And I can imagine that web browsers you would install via PlayStore and/or Linux will have worse performance, e.g. because hardware accelerated video decoding might not work like that.

It doesn't run well at all on any other browser except for chrome on a Chromebook. Matter of fact Chromebooks don't run any other browser well at all in general.
