My name is Sadiqa] and I develop Noor, a free (no ads, no charges) Qur'an and Arabic-learning app for Android — built entirely on Quran Foundation sources (quran.com's v4 API, the Quran MCP server, and qdc for recitation audio).
We recently added a Tajweed-rules course to Noor, teaching the rules of correct recitation (idgham, ikhfa, iqlab, qalqalah, madd, etc.) using real examples pulled from your tajweed-classification API. The one piece we're still missing is automatic pronunciation feedback — right now our practice screen can only let a user record themselves and compare manually against the official recitation.
I came across Recite (recite.quran.ai) and it's doing exactly this — word-by-word tilawah tracking, catching misrecitations in real time, with tajweed pronunciation feedback and hifz practice. This would be a perfect fit for Noor's practice feature.
I couldn't find a public API, SDK, or MCP tool for Recite alongside the text-only Quran MCP server — so I wanted to ask directly:
Is there (or are there plans for) a public API or SDK for Recite's recitation/pronunciation-checking engine?
If it's not public yet, would you be open to an early-access/partnership conversation for a free, non-commercial educational app?
If there's documentation or a waitlist we should know about, I'd love a pointer.
Noor is free forever with no monetization, so this would purely be in service of helping people learn to recite correctly — happy to share more about the app if useful.
