The iOS version of OwnTracks has a feature to store PoIs, see documentation in the OwnTracks Booklet: POI and tags. It would be cool to have this feature in the Android app as well.

Make this one a +one from me. Busy developing an alternative for Google timeline (incorporating the years of information I downloaded before they lost it all) and this would be really helpful - not personally concerned with the images just the name.
