Confusion on a step

Apologies for the question in the Issues tab but this one is eluding me. It's been a few years since I did the bypass and I have a new Protectli, reloading it fresh. Trying the wpa_supplicant method again for opnsense but confused on something.

What is the EAP_IDENTITY referring to, in the opnatt.conf ?

It doesn't specifically call it out in the documentation, and I have had no luck scouring the web.
