Bug Description
I configured the solar widget for my solar charger on board. This looks pretty nice, when I configure it during runtime. The data from my solar charger is gathered via MQTT and then inserted into SignalK via MQTT Importer Plugin. Mosquite and SignalK are running on the same raspberry. I configured solar.1 as my device for this widget and addedd 300 Watts as the maximum power. Last but not least I selected the green colour schema (since all electrical widgets are green on my dashboard).
When I rebootet my Raspberry, the widgets shows the information, that there is no solar charger on the system. After a while, when the first data is populated, it shows data in the widget again. But the colour and max. power settings are gone and have to be re-done on every reboot. I guess this is just because it takes too long for the first data to arrive.
Is there a workaround for this situation? Do I need to provide fake values some-how on start up? Or is this a bug and can be fixed in KIP, so that the configuration is permanent even if there is no data at the beginning.
Thanks for your help,
Jobe
