The name "mqvpn" and the mqvpn logo identify the mqvpn project. They are not covered by the Apache License 2.0: the license grants rights to the source code, but Section 6 explicitly excludes trademarks, service marks, and product names.
You are welcome to:
- Use the name to refer to the project — "based on mqvpn", "compatible with mqvpn", "a fork of mqvpn", and similar.
- Redistribute official releases, and maintain forks that keep the name, as long as it stays clear which project is which.
Please do not:
- Publish applications under the "mqvpn" name or logo on app stores or package repositories (Google Play, Apple App Store, F-Droid, Microsoft Store, distribution package archives, and similar channels). Store listings under this name are reserved for official releases; list your build or fork under its own name instead.
- Use the name or logo in a way that suggests your distribution is the official one, or is endorsed by the mqvpn project.
