Thanks for the report. The 'trash gets repopulated after rescan' behavior is the surface-level symptom of the protected-file uninstall bug also tracked in #93, #95, and #97: PureMac thinks the removal succeeded, but some files (typically root-owned receipts and launch plists) weren't actually deleted, so the next scan resurfaces them.

Fixed on main by #103 (commit 6fe3f0f). Will be in the next release (v2.3.0). Please reopen if the symptom persists on the next signed build.
