Cuts Come Back

Not sure if anyone else has reported this and I couldn't figure out a search string that got any results, so I'll start a new report;

This has been happening for a while on my laptop: I "cut" something from a note (highlight and right-click/cut or ctrl+x), paste it into another note, then when I go back to the first note what I had "cut" is magically back! And I have watched very carefully to make sure it was really gone (cut and not just copy) and it come back; it's not consistent, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't, and I can't figure any differences between when it does or doesn't; Any ideas? is this a bug? I can re-create this with the rich text editor, but not the markdown editor
