Add datestamps to journals?

My use case for interstitial logging is to keep a log for each of my project pages. As such, it'd be helpful to include the date in the timestamp for each entry. Currently only the time is displayed, so on a long-lived project page I can't tell what day an entry was made.

I'm hoping I missed a config option, but if I need to maintain a fork I'd love to know where in the plugin this is controlled so I can make a modest patch.

Journals has date, so adding another date to interstitial notes make it redundant.

If you still insisted to add date:

1. Open $:/plugins/kookma/todolist/macros/interstitial-utility
2. look for

Yes, the interstitial journals are used inside a Journal tiddler like below:

Okay. I disabled the plugin and couldn't easily look for myself, but there's the disconnect.

The Tiddlers I'm using journals with are for specific projects and areas, with separate logs for each. They are not date-stamped in the title. They are long-lived, non-timebound tiddlers in which I want to capture quick notes about those specific areas. (Unless the time presentation is dynamic and changes to include the date ... but I thought I checked for that when I had it enabled.)

For both cases (using Journal tiddler with hard coded date and modifying the data) format I gave the solution.

By the way you may be interested in kara which superseded the Todolist and use the solution by
