empty(paths)

Empty files or directories.

Empties the given file(s) or directory(ies). Directories are cleared of their contents, and files are truncated without deletion.

Alias: emptySync()

Parameters:

• paths <string> | <string[]>
• Returns: <void>

Example

fs.emptySync('/home/components');
console.log('success');
