As a new user of build123d I want to quickly get visualize or modify script from other creators.
To quickly find a model that I already worked with - or I created earlier - I need a simple view to quickly load or duplicate this model.
A visualization (screenshot) of the model and a short description help me to find the model I need (example like gallery in build123d documentation). Detailed documentation about the model might be shown in the help or notes view.
A typical scenario would be:
- start
nice123d
- select the
ProjectGallery in the left panel
- (automatically switch to the
NotesEditor on the right panel
- Browse the models that are in the
Settings.model_path e.g. ./models/ in the application folder
- Click on a model to display its details (in the
NoteEditor
- Activate or duplicate a model to work on it.
We might implement different buttons like Customize to start the Customizer / Viewer mode
Export to show an export dialog ...
- (automatically) switch to the
Editor / Viewer mode
- (automatically) generate the model
- Work with the given model.
