I do hope that you will keep working on the "Joomla side" of the Gantry 5 framework as well (not only WordPress and/or Grav).
Gantry 5 is one of the most popular and most beloved frameworks in the Joomla ecosystem :)

Hi @gteigland - only saw your announcement last night and only thought to check GitHub just now. We have quite a lot of Joomla/Gantry projects on the go so we are obviously very interested and grateful to hear that Tiger 12 are taking on stewardship of the framework. Looking forward to seeing your roadmap as soon as it's available.

I'm sure it'll be no surprise that for us, the immediate priority is to get Gantry to a release where it's fully compatible with Joomla 5 as soon as possible.

@gphood We’re completely aligned with you. We came in a bit late in taking over the project, and right now we're focused on refining our development and release processes. That’s temporarily slowing down releases a bit, but it will absolutely pay off in the long run.

We also have many of our own client sites running on Gantry, so we fully understand the need for stability and updates — and we're highly motivated to ensure Gantry is properly modernized and maintained.

Hi Marian, We are currently working on the Joomla upgrades. This is our highest priority. Also I'm in the middle of designing our AI upgrade system for future and faster deployments. Once that is done I will share a roadmap. I appreciate everyone's patience as we are fully committed to keep Gantry moving forward.

Thank you SOOO MUCH for keeping this wonderful, powerful, flexible, awesome template framework and its two main templates alive and moving forward. It's tough to become so "attached" to an open source product and then have the developer just give up on it. Gantry has been my go-to template/framework for over a decade now. Nearly all of my Joomla! sites are using either Helium or Hydrogen.

By the way, I had installed it on J!5 sites and migrated those sites to J!6 without issue prior to the release of 5.6.0. But I know it's been a risky undertaking. I am so glad to see Gantry 5.6.0 being released.

HI Bruce, We will have additional news coming soon. With MCP being released for Joomla and Wordpress we will be creating some cool AI tools - including the ability to upgrade old RT themes to the latest version of Gantry/Helium Theme - while keeping your original designs.

I wasn't sure about writing a ticket, but I do have a pending issue with the Helium desktop menu items when they are setup to be clicked versus hovered. I use JCE Mediabox a good bit, and when a Mediabox modal is popped-up and then dismissed, the Gantry menu items don't react anymore when clicked. To get them to respond again, I either have to refresh the page or open the modal and dismiss it again. I checked with Ryan at JCE and he said it isn't anything in Mediabox itself that is causing this. Thought you'd want to know. Let me know if I should write a ticket for this.
