900k records on a browser page simply does not make sense. |
|
The actual situation is that we have already tested it and it cannot be rendered, which is why we are consulting with you. What is the maximum data volume that the BIRT engine can support for rendering? |
|
AFAIK there is no fixed limit. Only resources (CPU, IO, memory and time) limit the practical usability. |

Reconsider what you actually want. Instead, let the users filter what they want to see beforehand. Even if you want to just create a file, a million rows will be problematic. |

I confirm the explanation of hvbtup. In the past I had situations that the result was genereated but the HTML-preview couldn't be displayed due to the browser limitations. If you provide more details to your test case and your target or you can provide your test-report with your demo data then I can try to execute the report on my side. |
Uh oh!

Regarding BIRT version 4.20, what is the maximum data volume it can support rendering? For example, if there are 900,000 records that need to be rendered on a browser page, approximately how long would that take? thanks.
