how to change the font of all texts in BIRT report globally

How to change the font to customize font for all the reports/screens in birt. I changed in the css files and .rptdesign files wherever font/font-family specified to custom fonts, but some report where font not mentioned picking some defaults as 'serif' I could not override that. style classes are dynamically generated it seems fine the style classes below. how to override font : serif to customize font.

You should just set the font family for the pre-defined style "report" in the report.
