Using template filters

I've trying to render message from the chatsocket onmessge with a template filter, I don't think it's possible just yet but it will be nice to have as it then makes the difference between async and sync speed and performance.

You can use the DTL as normal, but you may wish to do that with sync_to_async(), depending on your render times.
