how to binning other vector from an existing "bins" object?

After I bin a vector and get a "bins" object, how can I bin other data with this "bins object"?

Are you wanting to do something like this?

iris |>
  mutate(bin_petal_width = binning(Petal.Width)) |>
  group_by(bin_petal_width) |>
  mutate(bin_sepal_width = binning(Sepal.Width))

Unfortunately the binning() function does not support group_by().

By the way, it is a meaningful task that the binning() function supports group_by().

iris |>
  group_by(Species) |>
  mutate(bin_sepal_width = binning(Sepal.Width))

I'll consider adding that feature in the next version.
