SHIBMETRICS Historical Data Collection & Validation System

A comprehensive, bulletproof system for collecting, validating, and maintaining 5 years of SHIB burn transaction data.

  • Daily validation and lock-in of historical data

1. Collect All Historical Data

Historical Data Collection

  • POST /api/historical/collect - Trigger complete 5-year data collection

Daily Validation & Lock-in

  • POST /api/historical/validate - Run daily validation and lock process
  • GET /api/historical/validate - Get validation history and stats

Historical Data Access

  • GET /api/historical/burns - Access complete historical dataset
    • Query parameters:
      • limit (1-1000, default: 100)
      • page (default: 1)
      • address - Filter by burn address
      • startDate - Filter from date (YYYY-MM-DD)
      • endDate - Filter to date (YYYY-MM-DD)

🔒 Data Validation & Security

Multi-Layer Validation

  1. Data Integrity Hashing

    • Cryptographic hash of all transaction hashes
    • Detects any data corruption or tampering
  2. Timestamp Validation

    • Ensures all timestamps are valid and within expected ranges
    • Flags future-dated or pre-SHIB launch transactions
  3. Cross-Validation

    • Randomly validates recent transactions against Etherscan
    • Detects discrepancies between cached and live data
  4. Duplicate Detection

    • Ensures no duplicate transactions in dataset
    • Maintains data uniqueness and accuracy

Lock-in Process

  • 24-Hour Rule: Transactions older than 24 hours are automatically locked
  • Locked transactions are permanent - never re-fetched or modified
  • Daily backups created before lock-in process
  • Validation logs maintained for 365 days
