Two more features I would like to add - 1. option to add a absolute time. 2. Full Screen Overlay
A full screen escapable overlay with a dark fade black backdrop will be very much usefull and unlock the actual use of these reminders. cuz a reminder is to interrupt me from whatever I am doing (like a cpu interrupt :) Of course, this can be customizable whether I want a notification or a full screen interrupt overlay. |

First, OMARCHY IS THE BOMB BABAYYYY!!!
Loving the new "Reminders" in 3.8...
One small thing that takes away from it's usefulness (<-- is that a word?) is that when the actual reminder triggers (displays), it disappears (mako times it out after it's default of 5 seconds). So, unless you had your eyes on the display during that timeframe, you would miss the reminder. Seems like this sort of notification is one the user explicitly "asked for" and would not want it to time out.
I am fairly certain (it worked on my box! lol) the following would be all it would take:
'~/.local/share/omarchy/bin/omarchy-reminder'
EXISTING
SUGGESTED
** only added the '-t 0'
