A OPL 2\3 version will be amazing
I grew up with the Soundblaster 16 so anything OPL 2\3 tingles me shiver.

Ha, love this — OPL2/3 has such a specific crunch to it. It's a whole different beast though (FM synthesis, nothing like the Game Boy's channels), so realistically it's a someday-maybe rather than a soon. But I'm leaving this open — file it under sound chips I'd love to butcher next. Cheers for the nudge, SB16 represent.
