Thanks for the report. I checked the current release build output and it is arm64 only, which explains the failure on an Intel Mac.

That is on our side: the README currently says Intel is supported, but the published app artifact for 1.3.1 is not universal. I’m leaving this open as a bug until the release packaging is fixed. The next step is to either ship a universal arm64 + x86_64 build or, if one of the current dependencies blocks that, update the requirements clearly instead of implying Intel support.

For now, the downloadable DMG should be treated as Apple Silicon only.
