Thanks for the report. WinMerge does not have any mechanism to recreate its Start menu shortcut every time Windows starts. The Start menu shortcut is normally created by the installer during installation or upgrade. If the WinMerge folder is being recreated on every startup, it is likely being restored by something outside WinMerge, such as synchronization/backup software or system management software. Are you using any software that synchronizes or restores your Start menu or user profile? |

Every time I start my computer, A Winmerge folder is added to the root of my start menu. How can I disable this? I can't find anything in the Options.
