Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We as contributors and maintainers pledge to make participation in the ChildSafeNet project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all contributors.


Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful and inclusive
  • Using welcoming and constructive language
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment or discrimination in any form
  • Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments
  • Publishing others’ private information without permission
  • Any conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.


Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, including:

  • GitHub repositories
  • Issues and pull requests
  • Discussions
  • Documentation
  • Community forums

It also applies when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces.

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it by contacting:
