Syntax highlighting is inconsistent

Sometimes the syntax highlighting uses a different color palette. Also, the emphasized lines don't highlight the full width when the code block has a horizontal scroll bar.

Thanks for reporting these! Both are valid UX pain points in the current docs rendering.

1. Inconsistent syntax highlighting color palette
   This usually happens when different code blocks are rendered by different mechanisms — for example, some blocks use the default Pygments style from Sphinx, while others (like literalincludes or certain extensions) might fall back to a different theme or even the browser's default.
   It can also occur if we have multiple Pygments styles configured (e.g., light vs dark mode switching) or if some blocks are inside .. raw:: html or custom directives that bypass the standard highlighting.

   A quick fix could be to enforce a single Pygments style globally in conf.py:

   pygments_style = 'sphinx'  # or 'monokai', 'dracula', etc.
   html_theme_options = {'pygments_dark_style': 'monokai'}  # if supporting dark mode
