Ifclite.com does not load on Edge and Brave browsers

Hi there,

After yesterday's update, the application is not loading in Edge or Brave. It loads well on Chrome. Thought it was worth mentioning. Took a screenshot; however, not sure if it's helpful.

Resolved.

Root cause: the site ran behind Vercel Skew Protection, which set a __vdpl=<deployment>; SameSite=Strict cookie pinning same-origin requests to a specific deployment. The Vite 7→8 / Rolldown upgrade rotated every content-hashed asset name. A returning browser still holding a __vdpl from an older deployment then loaded the current HTML on a cross-site navigation (SameSite=Strict withholds the cookie from the document request) but sent that stale pin on the asset requests → Vercel routed them to the old deployment, which lacked the new hashes → every /assets/* 404'd and the app never booted. It was Edge/Brave-specific because the cookie is per-browser (Chrome held a fresh/no pin on the same machine).

Fix:

• fix(viewer): stop Vercel skew pin from 404'ing every asset on Edge/Brave (#1457) #1458 — stop setting the __vdpl pin, proactively expire any lingering one, and harden the inline boot self-heal so it recovers a poisoned browser (clears the pin before every reload + survives blocked sessionStorage). The original lazy-WASM-404 case the pin targeted is already handled in app code (wasm-asset-error + wasm-version-skew).
• Vercel Skew Protection toggled off, so the platform stops honoring any stale __vdpl still held by clients — verified live: a stale pin now serves 200.

If you still see a blank page on an affected browser, clear cookies for ifclite.com (DevTools → Application → Cookies → delete __vdpl) and reload once.
