Goals and deliverable

Our goal is to explore simulations of the earliest Rubin data, including the DP2 data and some of the early data from alerts. One particular goal will be to understand some of the discrepancies between the early sims and the early alert data as we approach DP2. Beyond this, the sprint will focus on coordinating ongoing efforts as part of the ongoing SN Ia Cosmology Collaboration exploring different survey simulators and inference methods to understand how they may vary.

Resources and skills needed

All eager to dive into SN simulations and early alert data are welcome, some experience with different simulation frameworks e.g. SNANA, skysurvey or lightcurvelynx will be valuable
