GTK3 update possibly breaks easystroke

Hello there. seems latest update to archlinux breaks easystroke (a little). the mouse gestures still work but the config gui will not launch.

have you come across this at all?

Hi, not yet on the latest Arch, but about to do so in near future (just these fears about all of the stuff that always stops working and needs X [h] to fix.. :) ). But I see you managed to work this around on your branch?

Interestingly, GUI seems to work when running with GTK_DEBUG=interactive ./easystroke...

Also btw. what about https://github.com/MRWITEK/easystroke/. There seem to be several patches that might not be in your repo, also https://github.com/cmmoran/easystroke mentions own additions and just recently https://github.com/marcinmagier/easystroke has had activity.
They all suffer from the GUI problem however but maybe it might be worth to move the repo to a organization and then put all the existing patches in there? (I myself won't really actively contribute however so I don't need to be in that.)
Will open an issue at MRWITEK's repo as well due to the amount of stuff added there, the other two may be asked to join when the organization thing happens.

Edit: Looks like MRWITEK has no issues; will send a mail...
Edit2: Turns out cmmoran's cmmoran-synergy branch builds up on MRWITEK's master branch. So that might be the newest with unique changes.
Edit3: Nvm. might actually only be used with Synergy cause I can't use gestures with commits added from that branch.

Also one other issue that seems to be new, at least on my machine: Tray icon does not show up every time after starting the application.
Edit: okay, tried it again now and for some reason it just shows now every time for the one compiled from AUR and this repo. Maybe I tried to fast earlier or w/e. Also definitely multiple easystroke forks have this issue, including mrwritek's... meh.
Edit2: Fixed by reverting a commit. Also while doing this I figured out that when going very very back in time – to 118380dfb59286401cafbc9604457f457daeac85 – that there are actually older states where the configuration can be shown. Maybe it helps to just checkout some test branch, revert a bunch of commits until it shows and then rebase & drop the reverts one after another. (E. g. https://github.com/easystroke/easystroke/tree/quickfix2025 shows the config window but misses a bunch of newer stuff)
Edit3: Yes, works. Tried it on this repo due to fewer commits. Currently rebasing.

Btw. created the org and addressed some of the deprecation warnings at least... (originally wanted to push those to my user account but then when it did it did not show "forked from" I deleted that and wasn't able to fork to my user account cause GitHub apparently remembers deleted repos – at least for a while?!). Well, if any of you wants in, then I can add you and could transfer ownership (cause as I have written earlier, I won't actively contribute).

Edit: signal(SIGINT, &sig_int); can actually stay. So the issue is with signal(SIGCHLD, SIG_IGN); for some reason...
Edit2: Looks like this is related: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2413966. (Found by a search engine search for – with quotes – "SIGCHLD, SIG_IGN GTK3".) When using G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all ./easystroke show I can also see glycin and bwrap messages.
Edit3: Note »It is likely that this issue will resolve itself with a future update to bubblewrap.« and issue containers/bubblewrap#711
