How to disable shading the inactive windows #868
-
|
I find it distracting that inactive windows are shaded blue, the whole point of a tiling window manager is to have multiple windows on screen for viewing at the same time after all. I've systematically gone through all the .conf files but as a new user I cant find it or its not working to disable. I suggest that be turned off by default. Any help is appreciated. In fact I find few of my changes persist a reboot i.e. commented out rainbow borders, continually comes back on its own. |

There is info on how to turn off Rainbow borders in the FAQ
https://github.com/JaKooLit/Hyprland-Dots/wiki/FAQ_Themes_and_Decorations
But we are not going to change the default. If we do someone else will want it back on. The idea is to customize it as you like. There are some videos on Jak's youtube channel and many others on how to theme Hyprland Including the Hyprland Wiki |

Under decorations are the basic border colors opacity, etc
And under Windows Rules the opacity overrides
