mirroring issue

When mirrored with the gitlab, the streaks doesnot seem to be updating.

I think this might be happening because GitLab mirrored commits don’t trigger GitHub contribution activity the same way as direct GitHub commits.

From what I understand:

GitHub streaks update only for commits authored and pushed directly on GitHub

Commits coming via GitLab → GitHub mirroring may not count toward streaks

Especially if commit author/email doesn’t exactly match the GitHub account

Can you please confirm:

Are commits pushed only on GitLab and then mirrored to GitHub?

Is the commit email exactly the same as the GitHub account email?

Does this repo use --mirror or scheduled mirroring?

If this is expected GitHub behavior, maybe it can be clarified in the documentation.
