Verified: Cosmo3D reached beta before SGI halted it for OpenGL++; it shipped only as the substrate under OpenGL Optimizer. The Fahrenheit program (SGI+Microsoft, announced December 1997) absorbed the lineage and died by 2000; only the XSG scene-graph slice ever shipped, unsupported and quickly discontinued. No standalone source release exists.
