Notes

Verified lineage: Larry Gritz developed BMRT at GWU/Cornell, first published 1994; final BMRT release 2.6 in November 2000; Exluna Entropy followed in July 2001; NVIDIA acquired Exluna in July 2002 and the Pixar lawsuit settlement ended BMRT/Entropy distribution. Distributed only as shareware/freeware binaries; sources never released.
