Describe the bug
The simple tab groups icon in the toolbar is getting permanently stuck with a spinner animation, and it's not possible to see tab groups any more. Clicking on the icon does nothing.
One thing I have noticed when this happens is the button appears in all open windows, whereas previously the icon only appeared in the main window I have open.
It can be resolved by completely exiting Firefox and then re-opening Firefox.
To Reproduce
At this point it's not clear what causes it, but it seems to happen every day after using the browser for a certain amount of time. May be related to dragging tabs to new windows.
Expected behavior
It should always show the icon of your current tab group and be possible to click on it to see the tab groups.
Screenshots
If you right click on it there is an option for 'Reopen tabs with temporary containers in new'
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS and version: macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 (25E253)
- Firefox version: 149.0.2 (aarch64)
- Simple Tab Groups version: 5.3.2
Additional context
The extension has not been updated, but Firefox has, and I also recently updated from MacOS Sequoia to Tahoe.
Note: I have disabled Firefox native tab grouping.
