I wanted to kindly follow up on my earlier question regarding the implementation of an off-channel reservoir in the hydrological model. I’d appreciate any guidance or updates when convenient. Thanks |

Dear @AldenShadd1000, thank you for your question. In Wflow all active model 'cells' are land cells. Therefore, at a location/pixel in the model there can be both a 'land cell' and a 'river cell'. Reservoirs can only exist on river cells in Wflow as they form part of the routing routine. This means that if the reservoir is not located on pixels that overlap with river cells, that no reservoir is created by HydroMT. |

I am working on a hydrological model of a catchment, and I want to add a reservoir. However, this reservoir is not on the main river channel, it would be located on land, so that water can be stored.
