A way to turn off Software Updater notification

For some people, like me, notification is a call to action and I see them I want to complete them I couldn't ignore them easily.

When Kudu told me to update my software, which normally I only update them when needed, I kinda want to do it.
And actually I did, it turned out very messy. As we might do not want to use the newest version all the time. Or it's case by case that each software don't just easily update by another software.

So, I want to turn off that feature, if I could that would be very nice.

Thanks for raising this — it makes sense. We're adding a setting to turn off background third-party software update checks and sidebar badge reminders. You'll still be able to run a manual check from the Software Updater page whenever you want.
